A magnificent sculpture signed and dated: “Pierre Jules Mene 1869″. This is a very famous piece and I’m told that there was an edition of 10 and no two pieces are the same. The hand finishing and detail of this work is mesmerizing. It’s against a mirror so you can see the fully finished back. The detail on the back is the same as the front – marvelous.  Solid bronze. $ 7,800. Size: 31” L x 16” W x 27” H.  Wt: I imagine this weighs about 175 lb. 80.0 kg.
