Girl Admiring Flowers
Oil on canvas by Suzanne Eisendieck, French, 1908-1998. Facinated, is the girl looking at the beautiful pitcher of flowers. Youthful, fun and typical Eisendieck. Moderately heavy application of paint with purposeful brush strokes. C. 1950. Frame is carved wood and is in rough shape or it’s made that way, I can’t tell. It suits the painting. It has gold leaf, flecks of gold and various colours of paint. Frame size: 27″ W x 23″ H. Canvas is on a stretcher by ANCO BILT Glendale N.Y. #16. Canvas size: 20″ W x 16″ H. Excellent condition, frame as is.
