Lovely Artist’s Proof, Limited Edition. Seal: “Fine Art, D*NBA*J”. “Copyright W.J. Stacey, London, W.C. 1″. Dated: Orovida 1925.  Signed in pencil lower right “Orovida”.  Gallery monogram on label on reverse: “An Eastern Poreen” by Orovida, Artist’s Proof, Limited Edition. Frame and matting are original to the piece and period. Frame is showing it’s typical age with some marks and dints. Easily fixed.

Market in Cuautla. Colour lithograph on paper by Pablo Esteban O’Higgins 1904-1983.  That of a peasant woman vegetable seller. One of the original 250 created in 1946. The original might have been done in crayon and pastel. Signed in the margin lower right in pencil, “Pablo O’Higgins”. Appropriately framed with beige and  burgundy matts with beveled inner cut. Frame is wood with bronze/gold finish. Excellent condition. This is not an inexpensive, new print that you see on eBay – it’s a true lithograph on fine artist’s paper. Excellent condition.

Reference: AF 68-6(M) ML 362.The hand made Japon paper is spun or rag woven and is embossed flat where the image is. All are Artist’s Proofs from the original series. Dali, himself, is in this picture at the bottom.  The paper is spun or rag woven and is embossed flat where the image is. The edges have a slight rag edge. An embossed “Dali” signature seal is in the margin, for authenticity, bottom right. It’s also signed “Dali” in pencil in the margin bottom centre.  The catalog reference numbers from the official Salvador Dali experts are as follows: Albert Field Catalog page 40, #68-6C, Michler Lopsinger Catalog page 177-78, #358. Full linen matting. Frame is wood with motley, gold finish. There is one tiny missing chip from the border of the frame. Excellent condition. Very rare.

“Young Painter” by Kees Van Dongen 1877-1968. 20th century French school. A limited edition coloured lithograph from the series “Le bonheur – les peintres temoins de leur temps” by Mourlot Lith. Co. Signed, numbered 25/75 and publisher’s mark in the margin. Signed in the plate and also signed in pencil bottom right, in the margin, “Van Dongen”. Ref. Benezit Vol. 3, page 756. Frame is stained wood with gloss finish. Two off-white matts with beveled edges. Label au verso states that it’s mounted with archival quality Alphmat. Excellent condition.

Ken Danby pencil drawing of his son and made into a lithograph poster to promote Danby’s show at the Gallery Moos, Yorkville, TO. Signed lower right in pen “All Best Wishes. Ken Danby”. Frame is bright gold colour metal. Frame and art size: 26″ H x 18.5″ W. Excellent condition.
